Here are the steps to clear all applications and settings from the Vx520:
1. Hold down F2 and F4 at the same time
2. Key in the password and press the green enter key
3. Scroll down using the purple button on the left
4. Press 1 for "Memory Functions"
5. Press 3 to "Clear Mem"
6. Press the green enter key to select group 1
7. Scroll down using the purple key button on the left
8. Select "Clear all Groups"
9. Press 2 to "Confirm"
10. Press Red X
11. Press Red X
12. Press Red X
13. Press Red X
14. Press 3 to restart
The screen should say:
DOWNLOAD NEEDED
